GMG's Friday Find: Send a Living Card This Year!

It's that time of year when some older fashioned holiday traditions begin.  I'm talking about Christmas cards. We love to send them, we love to get them.  If you're looking for something a little different than the standard fare cards, why not consider sending a PostCarden this year.

A winter scene and a Santa's grotto are two holiday themes that let you show and grow with this unique card idea.  The postcarden comes packaged in illustrated card stock, with an inner growing tray, a packet of cress seeds and a cardboard display that opens up into a 3-D scene.

You have a little oragami fun first, sprinkle the seeds, sprinkle some water and in 10 days you have a living piece of art for your home or office. The grassy herb-like plant will live for about two weeks with minimal care, making it the perfect gift for the brown thumb on your list.
Check out this short video to see how easy the postcarden is to assemble and grow.  This holiday season, send your love with a card that lives on.

Yes, perfect for any room. They have several other themes as well, even one for football!

If I’ve had one of those I’ll just keep them for myself and I also think your football card will also be a good one to keep with.

This would be a good idea because this is a lovely season and I love to give one for my mum as a gift.

I love this idea, and I'm going to share it on pinterest. Have you considered adding a "pin it" button? Thanks for the info.
