Is it ALWAYS just about the dress?

What about the BOUQUET???

Well, I was one of the MANY who awoke early this morning to watch the beyond beautiful wedding of William & Kate. As much as I wanted to see her, her dress, her hairstyle and her veil...I was really curious what style or trend she would follow with her choice of bouquet. Would it be so big that it would hide her dress, so small that we couldn't see it, so colorful that it was all we focused on or would it be a very traditional white arrangement.

It looks like traditional white with many meaningful flowers was the winner. It perfectly complemented her dress and the very personal tone that William & Kate set for their very special day.

Colleen Vanderlinden at About.com posted a great synopsis of Kate's bouquet...check it out HERE...

Or you can read the 'Official' bouquet story from The Official Royal Wedding Web site...here is a synopsis...

The flowers’ meanings in the bouquet are:

Lily-of-the-valley – Return of happiness

Sweet William – Gallantry (and of course, for her William!)

Hyacinth – Constancy of love

Ivy - Fidelity; marriage; wedded love; friendship; affection

Myrtle - the emblem of marriage; love.

The wedding was just beautiful...and TOTALLY worth losing sleep over!
