What type of garden do you have? A small container garden on your front porch? Or tons of space? These are pictures from the
Pennsylvania Horticultural Society's City Gardens Contest and as a judge I see all types of gardens big and small. If you are not blessed with a large landscape, you do need to know how to be a good editor. Consider using striking plants, adding impact with a small fountain and using bold colors.

In June, I will be attending the
Association of Professional Landscape Designers conference in Cleveland, Ohio. The gardens that we tour are always top notch, along with the speakers and information sessions.
