Big Garden or Small Garden

What type of garden do you have? A small container garden on your front porch? Or tons of space? These are pictures from the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society's City Gardens Contest and as a judge I see all types of gardens big and small. If you are not blessed with a large landscape, you do need to know how to be a good editor. Consider using striking plants, adding impact with a small fountain and using bold colors.

In June, I will be attending the Association of Professional Landscape Designers conference in Cleveland, Ohio. The gardens that we tour are always top notch, along with the speakers and information sessions. The conference is open to the public, and a superb learning experience for anyone. You can register for the conference by visiting the APLD website. A select group of media will be invited to cover the conference. If you have some suggestions please leave them below!

Do you love this reclining frog as much as I do? Leave me a comment below. Kathleen at GMG.

Seeing those containers make me want to spruce up mine! And that frog is just A-DOR-ABLE!

Kathleen, you know me so well, that little Froggy planter had me at ribbet! Now, where can we find one?
