Meet me in Denver this week at ProGreen or Denver Botanic

Go west, you woman, and this week I am. I’m headed to Denver for two speaking engagements on garden trends. One at the ProGreen EXPO and the other at the famed Denver Botanic Gardens.

ProGreen is one power house event offering a wealth of information. It features 140 seminars on both the most basic and the hottest topics in the green industry, plus over 650 exhibit booths of interesting products and services.

I’m honored to be in such great line-up of speakers. Rick Darke takes a fresh look a the New Wild Garden, MacArthur ‘Genius’ award recipient David Montgomery will talk about how to restore our cities and the planet in Unpaving Paradise, and Charlie Hall will be sharing economic secrets on “marketing the Green.”

The show runs February 8 to 11.

Thursday evening at 7 PM I head out to the Denver Botanic Gardens to share my thoughts on how gardeners can lead the charge for "Gardening with a Purpose” and planting for a greener good. They’re doing a whole series on social media and gardening so I’ll be doing a roundup of my favorite blogs, friends and twitter pals.

Come join us.
