The Kennett Township "Sustainable & Beautiful" Project got officially kicked off this week as the team making it all happen gathered to walk the site.Juergen Steininger, Joe Poppiti, mastermind of the project, and Matt Sabo look out over the island that will be transformed as part of the America in Bloom project.
Joe Poppiti is the mastermind of the project! The island is just over his shoulder.
The Sustainable & Beuatification Project of Kennett Township EAC begins at the island going out of town near the intersection of Old Baltimore Pike and McFarland Rd.
Juergen has worked his magic and gotten 20,000 lilies donated. We'll be planting in about two weeks. Stay tuned for more.
