We're off to Boston today with
Costa Farms to team up with Jane Goodall’s
Roots & Shoots, the Jane Goodall Institute’s global environmental and humanitarian youth program, to give new mothers in Boston a live indoor plant. This initiative is part of Costa Farms ongoing public service campaign titled “
O2 for You: Houseplants with a Purpose.”
O2 for You highlights the many health benefits of indoor plants including the production of oxygen to improve indoor air quality both at home and in the workplace.

One of the Boston area’s Roots & Shoots groups,
B.O.L.D. Teens of Dorchester, and volunteers from Costa Farms will be delivering Peace Lilies to new mothers in hospital maternity wards, and pediatric units in three area locations: Boston Medical Center, St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, and Dorchester.
