My kids and I are so excited the weather is finally getting warmer, so of course the kids are ready to bring back to life their garden (or rather pick all the flowers, water everything in access & move all the rocks). It seems this year though a lot of families are getting the vegetable garden kick. It's a fun and an inexpensive "science experiment". There is a great event this weekend to teach your kids about herb gardening at the very beautiful Terrain at Styers. But as we all know with veggies comes unwanted guests. In our case: rabbits, groundhogs, deer, foxes, so don't forget to pick up some Liquid Fence products to keep them at bay! My family is actually undertaking a cool product this weekend to decorate the garden: personalized garden stepping stones. Wish us luck trying to get a 2 year old to participate. My guess is we'll end up at Terrain!
