Finally, the Solar Decathlon is happening as we blog in Washington, D.C. and will be on The National Mall until Oct 20th. FYI...In late September 2007, college and university teams from around the world—the United States (including Puerto Rico), Canada, Germany, and Spain—join the competition's organizers and sponsors in Washington, D.C., to assemble a "solar village" on the National Mall. In addition to the team houses, the solar village features energy efficiency and renewable energy exhibits and activities for the visiting public. Houses are open for public tours during the event.
