Great Gardens to Visit!

Hey, everyone! Hope you all had a terrific Memorial Day weekend.

Now that we're recovering from food comas, and planning summer vacays, here are some great gardens that are true "destinations" and definite must-sees!

Longwood Gardens, in Kennett Square PA. Excuse me if I sound like a tour guide and shameless promoter, but honestly, it's fabulous. From fireworks and fountains to summer concerts and ongoing events, there's something cool and fun for all ages. Plus, take in the incredible gardens, stroll through the new forest walk, and visit the Conservatory.

The Morris Arboretum, in Philadelphia, PA. Located in Chestnut Hill, the Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania is a garden gem. The incredible Arboretum's living collection of over 13,000 labeled plants is astonishing. Check out the gardens, sculptures and an ongoing garden railway display (from Memorial Day through Labor Day) - that's sure to enchant the very young, and young-at-heart.

Biltmore. George Vanderbilt's 8000 acre estate in Asheville, NC is breathtaking. From the moment you enter the woods on the winding approach road, you know you're in for something special. The spectacular plants and flowers, winery, farm, and famous Biltmore House are worth the visit.

Starting July 1st through October 23rd, Biltmore is showcasing "Tiffany at Biltmore"; an exhibition that features 45 stained glass lamps created by Louis Comfort Tiffany and the Tiffany Studios. Wow. Plus, Tiffany-inspired designs and events will spring up across the estate.

Let me know what gardens you'd like to share (and why they're magical) and should be added as a top great garden to visit.
Enjoy!
