Become Eco-Chic with Hines Horticulture

From 'Today's Garden Center®' Blog...

TGC is partnering up with Project EverGreen, Hines Horticulture and Horticultural Printing Inc. for a new contest to promote the Yard Enthusiasts of America (YEA) consumer affinity program to garden center customers.

It works like this: Garden center retailers set up a display to encourage consumers to be "eco-chic" and sign up for the new YEA program. To start, retailers should e-mail Katie Bromm at Hines Horticulture - kbromm@hineshort.com - to receive printed takeaway materials to promote the YEA program. Retailers have free reign over how they’d like to promote YEA in the garden center or online, but they have to sign up early, and then submit a description of the promotion and digital images to Bromm no later than June 22.

Members of Hines Horticulture, Project EverGreen, Today’s Garden Center and Horticultural Printing Inc. will pick the retailer who was able to sign up consumers for the YEA program via creative and effective promotions. Hines will make a donation on behalf of the winner to Project EverGreen, and launch a local and regional public relations campaign to show the community that retailer’s commitment to green spaces.
